The matting of goods is an important link in the custody and maintenance of goods. After the materials stored in the open air are stacked, they can be properly covered to reduce the erosion of materials by rain, dew and moisture and the exposure to sunlight. In addition, reasonable covering can also improve the utilization rate of warehouse capacity and the efficiency of storage operation.
1. Palletizing management
Open freight yard
Firstly, the ground shall be leveled and compacted, and then cement piers or stone piers shall be placed. A certain spacing shall be reserved between piers according to the specific situation.
If necessary, lay a layer of moisture-proof paper on the cushion stack, and then place the stored materials.
The height of palletizing in the open freight yard can be maintained at about 40cm.
Inside the warehouse
If a damp proof layer is made on the warehouse floor, it can not be padded under normal circumstances.
For chemical materials, cotton and linen products and other materials susceptible to moisture and mildew, the cushion shall be increased as much as possible to ventilate the bottom of the stack.
The stacking in the warehouse and goods shed shall be determined according to the moisture-proof requirements of the floor and materials. Generally, the cement floor only needs to be padded with a layer of cushion pier with a height of 20 cm.
Materials with large unit mass
The pressure of materials on the ground shall be effectively dispersed to avoid damage to the warehouse floor. For example, formwork or steel plate can be padded between the bottom of materials and the warehouse floor.
During stacking, the following four points shall be noted:,
1. The ground shall be flat and solid, and the liners shall be placed flat and in the same direction.
2. The distance between the liners shall be appropriate. The area of the liner directly contacting the articles shall be the same as the bottom area of the goods stack. The liner shall not extend out of the goods stack.
3. The liners used and the articles to be stored will not have adverse effects, and have sufficient compressive strength.
4. The pad shall have sufficient height. The height of the open storage yard shall be up to 0.3-0.5m and that of the warehouse shall be up to 0.2m.
