Air transport business scope

Air transportation operation process

1. Power of attorney

The shipper shall fill in the freight consignment letter by himself. The consignment note shall include the following columns: Shipper, consignee, departure airport, destination airport, required route / application for space booking, declared value for transportation, declared value for customs, insurance amount, handling matters, documents attached to the waybill, actual gross weight, freight rate category, billing weight, product name and quantity of goods, signature of the shipper, date, etc.

2. Review documents

The documents shall include: invoice, packing list, consignment letter, submission form, foreign exchange verification list, license, commodity inspection certificate, incoming / incoming processing verification book, claim / repair agreement, arrival guarantee and customs seal.

3. Booking space

After receiving the delivery forecast from the consignor, receive and fill in the booking form from the ton Control Department of the airline, and provide corresponding information at the same time; Name, volume, weight, number of pieces and destination of the goods; Time required for shipment, etc. The airline arranges the class and flight according to the actual situation. When booking space, the freight agent can choose the best route and carrier according to the requirements of the consignor, and strive for the lowest and most reasonable freight rate for the consignor.

4. Receiving

Consignor’s self delivery: the freight forwarder shall fax the cargo warehousing drawing to the consignor, indicating the contact person, telephone, delivery address, time, etc. So that the goods can be warehoused in time and accurately.

Freight forwarders pick up goods on site: the consignor shall provide the freight forwarder with specific receiving address, contact person, telephone number, time and other relevant information to ensure that the goods are warehoused in time.

5. Export declaration

After the customs declaration documents are complete, the freight forwarder shall declare to the Customs on behalf of the consignor; After the Customs has verified that there is no error, the customs officer shall affix the release seal on the original waybill for shipment.

6. Expense settlement

The consignor and the freight forwarder shall settle the relevant freight and miscellaneous expenses before the aircraft takes off.

Precautions for air transportation

1. The goods cannot be transported because the customs investigation department questions a certain bill of goods; Due to the climate, the aircraft needs to temporarily increase the fuel load, resulting in the overload of aircraft take-off and landing weight, resulting in the pulling down of cargo and the control of load.

2. The outer packaging of goods shall comply with international transportation standards, and the goods shall not be exposed.

3. For oversized and overweight (gross weight ≥ 60kgs), inform the freight forwarder in advance and assist in laying the pallet for the use of forklift.
